How I got Going!
Getting started is EASY and fun. I first noticed the SFI system while I was having a regular day surfing the web introduced to the system. I was a bit skeptical at first. After I read through almost every document that SFI has ever written for public viewing, I realized that this system is not only possible but it can be fun at the same time, not to mention a big challenge. I signed up.
Thinking of ways that I could get started, because there are many approaches to the system. SFI gave me a few ideas, first you could do all the advertising off line, such as fliers and sheet ads. Second by word of mouth, I figured that you can't talk to the whole Country like this. Lastly SFI gave me the idea of creating my own web site. I thought to myself, I know how to create a web site chats user friendly and quick to make thanks to all the web building tools available. Now I'am under way to making money!
The biggest challenge to creating your own website is getting traffic through it, you may have the best page in the world but if no one sees it, it's useless, and yes I went months before I started geting a reasonable amount of traffic through my site. There are many companies that offer to help, but for a price. Many companies offer to submit your site to thousands of search engines out there. (and yes there are thousands!) EXCEPT, if your site doesn't contain information that people will search for are it is too poorly designed, again, no one will find it. I have not yet tried this method of advertising, however it is entirely up to you how much $$ you want to spend to advertise your site. Yes it is possible to spend absolutely nothing and get great results! To achieve this your site must be VERY good.
I have often wondered about getting people involved with your program, in other words, getting people to give you there E-mail address. I am not exactly sure how effective this is, but, judging by the amount of spam mail I receive, it seems very effective. I am not implying you to get a mailto: searcher and spam people, you must get them to give you their e-mail address from a text box in your site.
